21st. August, 1939.

Messrs. Cornercroft Ltd.,
Ace Works,
Queen Victoria Road,
COVENTRY.

For the attention of Mr.J.A.Corner.

Dear Sirs,

We apologise for having been so long in writing to you again about the screw on cover for steel wheels, this is due to holidays etc.

We are sending you a drawing PD.485, showing an arrangement whereby the spider does not have to retain grease in the hub.

We are not sure whether this leaves sufficient room for the central stud. If it does will you please go ahead and make us up a complete set of discs for test runs in France.

We will of course supply the grease retaining pressing and the wireless earth and connections.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
