contd :- -4- consequently it was difficult to know if the mixture was suffic- iently rich to give maximum torque. This simple test however is sufficient to show that with the present engine and type of carburetter used there does not seem much possibility of obtaining any appreciable power increase above standard by employing larger throats. If such were possible by the above method, it would interfere with the metering characteristics of the carburetter. DISTRIBUTION. Distribution was quite good at wide open throttle with the standard carburetter. DIFFUSER JET CARBURETTER. This was simply the standard type carb.fitted with a contd:- | ||
