Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} [Struck through] SPECTRECodename for Phantom III STEERING. I note in a lot of GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}'s reports that he complains of steering shocks on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III at speeds in the neighbourhood of 45 miles per hour. We suggest that it might be useful if the SpectreCodename for Phantom III could be run on the bump with the small aluminium strips fitted to the drums which were used some time ago. This would enable us to determine whether the shocks he feels are due to wheel hop or frame deflection. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} [Signature] | ||
