X1086 HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/LG. Expl: Dept: 26th. Oct. 1925. Messrs. Barkers, Coachbuilders, 66, South Audley Street, London W.1. Dear Sirs, For the attention of Mr. Manning. We were rather puzzled when we tried the Austro-Daimler the other day because its maximum speed was only 58 m.p.h. and the axle ratio is not that of the 19/70 HP. sports model, being 4.9 to 1. In addition, the compression ratio seemed low because there was no detonation and you gave it us as 4.6 to 1. We should be interested to know whether this was definitely the 19/70 HP. unit. We wonder whether you could find out from Messrs. Newman? Yours faithfully, | ||
