slipping occurred.

We found this could be reproduced on the test rig by applying an extra load on the brake, the slipping occurring as stated previously.

The clutch spring D.51611 giving a poundage of 124 lbs. at .650" deflection was used in sch.2, giving a total torque load of 332.5 lbs.ins., therefore a lighter clutch spring cannot be used to overcome the trouble. This is more clearly shown in our report on the multiple clutch.
