Spring lubrication, American type dampers, and specifications for shock absorber loading.

it is absolutely necessary for the spring to be lubricated
to get good results.
The complaints which the lubricated spring
and the American type dampers sure demand the minimum of
friction in the spring and the minimum slow speed damping.
This is probably due to the fact that a great number of
our customers use their cars principally for town work.
The American shock absorber loading is
Front Dampers. Up. 120.
" " down 120
1.055 hole in each high pressure valve.
Rear Dampers. Up 60
" " down 120
2.055 hole in each high pressure valve.
