6H16 c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RC.{R. Childs} BY.5/G.3.11.37. NEW TYPE LUCAS HEADLAMPS. Referring to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux}13/MH.{M. Huckerby}28.10.37. I am satisfied as a result of trying out the lamps in question on Friday night, that there is a need for greater "spreading" of the light to eliminate the existing blind area on sharp bends. I want BY/RD. to take up the above point, and also the others mentioned in your memo with Messrs. Lucas, and to insist upon the points being met by modification to design. By BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
