Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}14/NJ4620. 4th June, 1920. Messrs. The Lucas Electrical Co.Ltd., Well Street, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, Electrical Equipment of 40/50 h.p. Chassis. We duly received yours ref.- CLR/GD, of 29th ult. and have decided to invite your Mr. Breeden to visit us next Monday afternoon. We therefore telegraphed you to-day as follows:- "YOUR LETTER TWENTY NINTH ULTIMO SHALL BE GLAD "IF YOUR MR.BREEDEN WILL VISIT US NEXT MONDAY "AFTERNOON". By Monday next we expect to have our testing rig for dynamos ready for use and if Mr. Breeden desires to subject certain rejected dynamos to test on chassis, we will afford him every facility. We regret we have not been able to make arrangements which would permit of our inviting you to come here earlier. If Mr. Breeden has time to look up our letter ref.- Byll-F.{Mr Friese} of 30th March last, regarding faulty terminal connections we shall be glad if he will discuss same with us while here.
