Re: 3 1/2, Litre - B.121.AE. As a matter of interest only. This car has come in for a bottom decarb. It was found to have bronze bearings in the con. rods. With the exception of one which has a small piece out, they are in an excellent condition and require nothing doing to them. The main journal white metal bearings are also in a good condition and apart from grooving the intermediates, they do not require touching. From the records, the bronze bearings were fitted at a mileage of 12,000. The car has done 50,958. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
