To EFC. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} -2- R5/G1219 Contd. so that you can give them the whole particulars which they will require to make us a few trial batteries. These people are used to making large cells, and they are, I believe, the best people in the country at their work, and I should have every confidence that what they supplied was technically correct. I should be glad if you would write out the specification of the weight, the ampere hours, the charging and discharging maximum rates, and the dimensions which you recommend the battery shall occupy, taking the Willard as a standard, favouring, but not demanding non-flam celluloid, if strong enough for the purpose, and separate cells, if there is much gain in insulation.
