We are now satisfied that on the B.5. series Bentley it will be possible to use Seapak in 6 layers as on the present production chassis. This together with the pile carpet is sufficient to damp out engine noises coming through the dashboard. We would suggest however, a layer of hessian sacking stitched in the centre' of the six layers of Seapak. This has been done on all our exptl. E.V. cars for strengthening purposes and is recommended for all chassis, as we find in practice that if the Seapak is distributed much it tends to disintegrate.
