Faulty Mica Condenser
Off 40/50 Chassis 12 YG.
This condenser has been tested on 400 RMS volts for five minutes, for ability to hold a charge and for capacity; through all of which it has passed OK.
The capacity is .211 mfds, the limit being .190 to .245 mfds.
It has also been run for half an hour on the bench as a test for the connections when only occasional sparking was observed to take place at the points.
