Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/ML.19.4.40. PRICES OF MARINE ENGINE UNITS. With reference to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AA.{D. Abbot-Anderson}8/P.15.4.40. I think your figure of £425 and £375 for the 8 and 6 cylinders respectively, are quite reasonable. Eventually, we may have to try and compete with the American prices per h.p. and I think that there is little doubt that we should be able to do this, but when you are discussing the R.R. engines with various boat builders, try this price that we have tentatively agreed on and see what their reactions are.
