Such small machines as are incorporated in this Alternator Set will have inherently low efficiency, and due to this cause and the low power factor of the excitation current taken by the selsyns, the input to this Alternator Set will be approximately 200 watts, and it will probably be necessary, therefore, for you to provide two 12 volt batteries in the car when carrying out your Chassis Steering Tests. We think Mr.Clark may have mentioned this possibility when he was at Derby, but we would ask you to carefully note this point. The price quoted will be strictly nett cash approved monthly account, subject to the terms and conditions of sale "A" as printed on the back of page 1 hereof and to confirmation before acceptance by us of an order. With regard to delivery, as this Equipment will be special we are not able to quote you at the moment earlier delivery than 12 working weeks, but in the event of your order coming to hand we would promise to look into this question to see what improvement could be effected. The dimensions of the Transmitter Selsyn will be generally in accordance with the blueprints already sent to you except that the special bearings will necessitate a longer overall dimension.
