Detonation tests are not considered necessary here, and it should now be possible to give a fairly accurate specification for the head and inlet valve. Also the effect of throat change will be known to a certain extent. | SHOP - The alum. head should now be fitted to the large exhaust valve block. 34. | Power curve with best conditions so far obtained. 35. | Try various exhaust valve timings, once again trying to reduce the overlap without power loss.
