SECRET.

To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re 20/25 HP car, fitted with Dubonnet Suspension. 19-G-IV.
Copy to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} F.BY.

Referring to Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les.14/KW/14.1.35 I have read this and, as the result, am wondering whether this experiment is one that we really want to go on with.

What I have in mind is that we have such a big programme in front of us for development and experimental work that we ought to consider carefully whether any good purpose is going to be served by continuing with this particular experiment.

It seems to me that we are definitely committed to the Cadillac type for the SpectreCodename for Phantom III and in view of our extended test on that car there can surely be no question of our wishing to adopt some other scheme.
