To: Technical Committee Customer's No.: Y141 Re: Bevel Wheel Pitch It may be of some interest to know that Daimler 22HP has ratio 48/12 & D.P. of 6 equivalent to 4.2 Dia Pitch The conection was 3 7/8. Browne & Sharp proportions for height. The thickness of teeth was arbitrarily chosen to make a decent pinion. The 38HP blanks of about same diameter. The ratio was 14/39 making Dia. Pitch about 3.5.
