Extract from a note by Mr. Royce regarding battery charging procedures and the risks of overcharging.

Below is an extract from Mr. Royce's note
RL/M23.3.28 :-

"We should more glaringly point out that wherever there is trouble of too little charge, a very small charging current should be run through the battery while the car is in the garage. Under some circumstances there is no other way of meeting the difficulty, because a bigger dynamo will charge the battery too quickly, and sometimes too much, resulting in destruction."

Presumably this refers to the Instruction Book.
