20 H.P. LANDAULET GF-68

I went out in this car this morning after having ridden in one of Barkers' best examples of a Closed 20 H.P. R-R.{Sir Henry Royce} and was bound to admit that there was a considerable, if not marked, improvement in the quietness of the body, both in freedom from the high speed chassis vibrations, as well as the thumps usually experienced from the balance of the back axle.

We have still much work to do on the minor details of this under-frame suspension, such as valances and scuttle isolation; and, although, the body may soon be completed, we would like the car to remain in the hands of Messrs. Barkers until such time as we have made the best job that it is possible for us to do, when we would like the car to be thoroughly tested by the Experimental Dept. at Derby.

We understand that Mr. Hives is in agreement with this.
