Discharge Resistance.
is instructed to
This unit should be wound with 22 turns, of 32 S.W.G., D.S.C., Eureka wire, giving a total length of 66.0 inches and an approximate resistance of 13.25 ohms.
The first one was made in the experimental shop, only 20 turns of D.C.C. wire being got on.
The measured resistance of this was 12.42 ohms at 15°C.
In all other respects it was according to the drawing.
