THE S.E.V.
“ALCO”

the highest ignition apparatus and the most complete

It is both :
a S.E.V. Allumo (battery ignition) and
a S.E.V. Cobalto (rotary cobalt steel magnet magneto)

S.E.V. ALCO

Proper to all 4 cylinders (type AM 4) and 6 cylinders (type AM 6) engines of all bores.

CHARATERISTICS :

The ALCO combines in a single apparatus the both ignition systems bringing to the highest degree their respective advantages (easy startings, powerful sparks at slow and highest speeds, complete reliability, easy fitting and keeping) and all this "automatically" without any additional cable or spare coil and "complexness".

Ignition advance : Variable driven or automatic or both. The variation of the advance being of 25°.

Basis : Convertable (axis height : 38 m/m) or bored at the radius of 50 m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore}

Driving axle : Taper or parallel spindle. Exceptionally for some engines, the ALCO can be supplied with the end of the driving axle being at the opposite of the distributer.

Speed of rotation : For the type AM 4 at the speed of the engine, for the type AM 6 at 1 and 1/2 speed of the engine.

Weight : 4 Kgs 500.

When ordering, the following particulars must be given on the order :
- Mark and type of the engine.
- Direction of rotation viewed from the driving end.
- State whether taper or parallel spindle.
- Variable, automatic or both ignition.
- Position of the distributer's shaft (on the right or left side of the lying shaft) the ALCO being viewed from the driving end.
- Tension of the battery (6 or 12 volts).
