Specified gap for a new batch order of Lodge sparking plugs.

Judging from the correspondence that has taken place re - orders for the above plugs, and particularly from the fact that the makers state that the gaps in these plugs, cannot be adjusted within a greater accuracy then 5/1000", it would seem that the best course to take, would be to order up the new batch of plugs with a specified gap of .0175" ± .0025". We shall then get the larger majority of the batch somewhere between .020" and .015," which seems to be what we desire. We should be glad if Mr. Hives and Mr. Platford would agree to this, so that Mr. Whitehead can place an order without further delay. EFC. | ||
