X. 4338 - ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. 79-AO. X4594

We are returning to you all the parts of the electrical equipment of this chassis, with the exception of the battery at the moment; a report on our inspection and test of these units will follow shortly. In the meanwhile we may remark that before replacing these units on the chassis the two requiring attention by the production Dept. are the dynamo and the starter switch.

The dynamo requires bringing up-to-date as regards bevelling of the brushes and undercutting the commutator, and also resetting of the output.

The starter switch as regards the spring blades - because at the moment it is breaking on the inner contacts, whereas it ought to be breaking on the outer contacts, as recently arranged.
