Dear Sirs,

EXPERIMENTAL CAM OUR M.22517.

As you know, up to the present we have supplied 4 experimental cams to the above part number. The balance of two to complete your order, which it was agreed we should put through to the American practice with regard to the bores, and the production of these two cams being held up pending certain experiments, we are pleased to say that our experiments have now proved satisfactory on various sizes of Cams, both bigger and smaller than the one as detail M.22517.

We are, therefore, arranging to machine the two cams with the American pattern bores and hope to despatch these to you in the very near future, and these will be to our M.22519, Blue Print herewith.

In conclusion we would mention that 7 cams M.22517 were put through and all proved good on final inspection.

The three surplus are in our Stores and are, of course, no use to us, differing to our standards, and
