PEREGRINE III CHASSIS.

Radiator.

Will you please fit the Hexagon tube radiator off the bump to this chassis. It is essential that we should get some running on the second wider Marston Radiator on the bump. We can replace the Hexagon matrix with a Harrison when the latter arrive.

Front Engine Mounting.

Please work to E's latest scheme LeC.3266.

Brakes.

Until we have completed our present series of tests on the existing brake system we do not want to go to the direct operation on all four wheels.

We have sent you a specification of the latest levers required. Will you please fit the larger dia. servo which should be issued today.

Exhaust System.

We wish to try a new silencer to avoid having to use the front expansion box. We are sending you a sketch, and two scheme drawings which show exactly what is required.

Engine Unit.

We will let you have Peregrine Unit No.2 in order to get the car running. This unit is however, no good for road work, until the crankcase is modified to prevent oil building up in the distributor etc. By the time the chassis is completed we shall let you have engine unit No.7 which will have the turbulent head, new camshaft and R.R. carburetter.
