Mr. Flower, Dear Sir, In reply to your letter dated May 18th, re the Balor Gear Box, we regret that it is the custom of our Company never to furnish reports upon inventions submitted. We can only say that we have examined it carefully and with much interest, and regret that in its present state we cannot make use of it. We should be glad to be kept in touch with future progress and achievements however.
