R.R. 235A (100 T) (S.H. 159. 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2800 ORIGINAL TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM R.{Sir Henry Royce} R1/M15.9.25. Copy to ~~BY~~ NEW PHANTOMCodename for PHANTOM I - RADIATOR SUPPORT. X 8250 We think the best thing to do with this would be to case-harden. If there is any ~~reason~~ risk of it breaking increase the dimensions the depth of the casing. We assume that at the other end where it runs on the ball, there is no trouble. We were talking about a radiator which is supported by a rod from the dash, but the spherical bush on the case-hardened pin shewn in bronze might be tried whitemetalled if the wear continues to be excessive.
