1099 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR.{M. H. Rigby}1/KC. 3rd February, 1942. Stainless Spinning Works, 182 Miller Street, BIRMINGHAM. 6. Attention of Mr. Blake. Dear Sirs, This is to confirm that you will make six phosphor bronze plate springs to our drawing RG.{Mr Rowledge}2909, of which we enclose a print. The only modification to the similar spring GB.4893 is the slight opening out of the rim with a reduction of the overall free length from 1.035 down to 1.000. We hope we shall see at least one spring within a week. An official order is on the way. Yours faithfully, for Rolls-Royce Limited. | ||
