Easy Jacking System on B-56-BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

Obviously we cannot standardise the system you have on your car, and before we make full recommendations to the designers of what we do want, we should be glad if you would let us know the answers to one or two questions -

(1) Is there any difficulty in jacking up the front wheels, and how far is the wheel clear of the ground with the jack at maximum lift ?

(2) If inadvertently you jack up the car with the head of the jack underneath the pad and not in the proper recess, does it damage the pad so that it can never be used correctly again?
