Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/LG. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Experimental Department, Derby. Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for your letter of the 21st inst., ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/LG regarding the gauge faces for the Telegage unit which we are making for the 40/50 H.P. car. Unfortunately the mask is already engraved with figures to suit 750 spirit. We are sending this to you for the time being as it will only be approximately 3% wrong but if you find the error too great we shall be pleased to do another mask calibrated to the 50/50 spirit. Yours faithfully, H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} HOBSON, LTD., B. A.{Mr Adams} Davey Technical Manager. | ||
