To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X 3806 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/KW.5.2.34. Re 40/50 HP. Chassis. ----------------------- With reference to attached Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E.1.2.34. This is one of the points which can much more easily be discussed than written about. It is the job over which we nearly fell out with the Cost people. The Luvax pump is cheaper: it looks cheaper. In my ignorance I still maintain that we shall pay more money out of the till for the Luvax than we do for our own. At the moment we have given up all idea of putting the Luvax Pump on Rolls-Royce cars. It is a unit which is seen as soon as the bonnet is lifted and the increased cost, if any, of the Rolls-Royce pump we think is well worth it. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
