Handwritten: Noted RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/800 Dear Sirs, Order No. 31449. Dated 19/12/'36. We beg to inform you that the 12' of Bonnet Rest against the above order was despatched from the Works on the 15th inst., and we trust it is now in your possession. They wish us to point out that although this is rather on the thick side it is very compressible material and will compress to 1/8" thick without any difficulty. When it came out of the loom it was exact to thickness, but has swollen in dyeing and dressing. We hope it will be suitable to your requirements. Yours faithfully, BRITISH BELTING & ASBESTOS LTD (Signature) MANAGER AUTO DEPT | ||
