With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}15/KW.9.7.34, we understand from Sales Dept. that Mr. Hall is calling at the Works today to discuss details in connection with the preparation of his car for the Ulster Race. On this occasion we should be glad if you would obtain a settlement in regard to the Gearbox question raised by Mr. Hall as Sales Dept. seem pretty clear that he expected the special gearbox would remain on B-35-AE. If this Gearbox is unsuitable for normal conditions no doubt you will make this point quite clear to Mr. Hall with a view to arranging for its removal after the Race. In view of the foregoing we presume there can be no question of transferring the Gearbox from B-35-AE to B-187-BL. In regard to the tank, please arrange for this to be handed over to the Works as soon as possible. D/BP | ||
