X2806 By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DAL/M8.6.29. c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 40/50 and 20 HP. CENTRALISED CHASSIS LUBRICATION. X2806 X7420 X7350 We thank you for your Ey/CGH{W Clough}5/G31.5.29. It appears to us that the proposal shewn on GL.{G. Linnett}328. requires a very long stroke for the valve. Also in the case of the front axle it does not seem as though it would work as drawn. We have therefore made some suggestions on N. scheme 2902. (herewith). We have assumed that the holes in the front and rear axles cannot be altered, the chassis being on test.
