Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}22.7.38. BODY SHAPES. Mr. Porter Chase was here yesterday and tried a P.III and Bentley car. He was delighted with the latter. He mentioned that the new Cadillac coachwork with no running boards was all the rage in America, and looked exceedingly shapely. We believe there is such a car in London, as Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, and I caught a glimpse of one the other day. If Sales could have a look at one we should be glad to have their views on trying a similar design on an experimental car, such as B.50. We are trying to obtain photographs from the States.
