springs and will bring with it springs to fit to 9-PK.
In the meantime we think that you should have 9-PK car overhauled at the Paris Depot so that as soon as the springs are available it has a good chance of completeing another 10,000 miles. Will you please decide what you consider is the best thing to do.
The point is, that there is no real necessity to run that car at the present time but as soon as the springs are available, it will, as usual, be necessary to complete 500 miles per day.
We are very interested in the temperature test taken on 9-PK. It is surprising and difficult to account for why removing the panel from one side of the bonnet increases the water temperature. We should be very pleased if you would repeat this test when you have an opportunity and run the car over a considerable period so as to get an average temperature under these conditions.
When we send 98-NK car out again, we should like your recommendations as to what men we should send with it. It may be that Shepard will be fit again, but I do not think Crofts will be. I do not wish to send out Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} again. so will you please say who else at the Works you will require and we will try and get them.

You mention 'off-side' spring - do you mean our off-side, or French driving off-side.

Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}
