Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr.E.Fowler Clark.

We are in receipt of your letter of the 13th instant and in reply to the last paragraph thereof, would say that if the apparatus in question will be of assistance to you we shall be only too glad for you to make whatever use of it you can.

The value of the apparatus is comparatively small, but we do not make it up for sale in the ordinary way, consequently we have never had to fix a definite price, and under the circumstances it would afford us great pleasure if you would accept it with our compliments.
