Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Your Ref:- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Bwg.{J. C. Bowring}9/KW. For the attention of Mr. Bowering, Experimental Dept. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 6th which we have not acknowledged before as we have been awaiting the broken Junction piece which you are returning. This Piece has not arrived yet, and so it would appear that it has gone astray. We have recently changed the material of all our Junction pieces; these are now being produced as hot brass stampings instead of iron castings, and we do not think you will experience any trouble with the brass stampings fracturing. We are forwarding you today under separate cover a sample of one of the brass junctions. Yours faithfully, FOR LUVAX LIMITED. | ||
