(2) For the time being, we can disregard the use on Chassis GAK-54, as the failure of the battery was then traced to a leaky cell and was rectified for the owner Mr.F.E. Brooke. On both occasions however, that the battery came in our hands it was received by us in a very discharged condition and from this together with the results of subsequent examinations, we can only conclude that the outputs of the two dynamos in question, were inadequate to deal with heavy duty with which the battery had to contend. In view of our having to adopt this conclusion, we shall be most glad of your co-operation as without a doubt you will be able to ascertain from your records regarding Chassis Nos.GNK-30 and GRK-26, whether complaints have been received at any time in connection with the electrical installations on these cars. Trusting to hear from you again under this heading and placing ourselves always at your disposal. We are, dear Sirs, Yours faithfully, PETO AND RADFORD. | ||
