x204 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/KW.15.4.35. Chassis for Park Wards. Mr. Ward particularly asked me whether we could arrange to fit a strip of Duralumin U section 2" deep on top of the body brackets, the strip to be continuous. The object of this is to take the place of the 2" wood packing which they normally fit on the body brackets, and to enable them to bolt the body down all the way along. If we have no Duralumin we suggest welded U section steel for the time being. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
