SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE. 4th October 1934. H.E.West, Esq., Messrs.Rolls Royce Ld., DERBY. Dear Mr.West, During one of our recent conversations you expressed interest in the instrument layout on the 'Pontiac' car. I have now been able to inspect same and Mr.Dorer has made a sketch of the layout and obtained all the necessary data. From our observations, however, these instruments - if I may say so - do not offer any great advantage over others of a similar design which we have inspected, although we noticed that the green translucent figuring when illuminated was quite effective. We are making experiments with Speedometers with dial schemes fashioned on similar lines and hope to communicate with you regarding this matter in the near future. Yours very truly, [Signature] SALES DIRECTOR | ||
