[handwritten scribble] Mr. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} W. Hancock, c/o Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, FRANCE. To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}: from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid{A. J. Lidsey}:3/KT.13.10.33. We are despatching the following parts to you today. <u>Exhaust System.</u> Downtake pipe, front expansion box, and intermediate pipe in staybrite steel, together with all the necessary lagging and flanges. Two cut-out springs EB.1208/9. These are for use on the cut-out mechanism in place of the one you have which is scarcely strong enough to prevent the cut-out rattling. We should like you to try the stronger of these two springs first. <u>Jacking Pads.</u> One pair of jacking pads N.Sch.3823, drawing attached. We should like to get the cut-out spring and jacking pads on as soon as possible, as we imagine they can be fitted without interfering with mileage, and they are wanted for the next 200 cars. We will let you know later about fitting the staybrite parts, as at the moment we do not want to stop the car from running any more than is necessary. Enclosed is blueprint FB.752 (Jacking Pads).
