important to make the 'Corniche' a thoroughly satisfactory car to handle than to cover the maximum number of miles. Experimental work in France is, therefore, being arranged accordingly.

When criticising the directional stability of the 'Corniche', we are comparing it with results obtained on other rationalised types of chassis.

To avoid giving an incorrect impression, it is necessary to state that in spite of criticisms it holds the road far better than the Paulin Bentley II car.
