With further reference to your letter of the 8th June we have now gone very carefully into our costs and attach herewith our quotation for 400 sets of GIRLING BRAKES as per specification enclosed. You will note that we have quoted for the complete job which includes Backing Plates, Brake Shoes completely lined and ground, Expanders and Adjusters, all assembled up ready to bolt on to your front and rear axles. With regard to the Tool Charge this is for Backing Plates and special dies etc., for the small parts but if you were interested we could go into this with you and it could be the subject of negotiations. If you find that the sample set of Brakes, which we hope to deliver very shortly, are O.K. we could be in production if you so desire with the complete job in about eight weeks time at the outside.
