To RV. Copy to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RMG Hw/Lec 622 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Wraith II Upper Triangle Levers - Front Suspension. We send herewith N.Sch.4847 showing the upper triangle levers of the front suspension for Wraith II. These levers, in conjunction with the lower levers of the yoke piece, give a wheel movement of 3.125 bump and 4.9 rebound, whilst the gyroscopic action of the wheel is reduced to about 2/5ths. of that of Phantom III. The bearing at the top of the yoke piece shown on N.Sch.4844, already issued, has been slightly modified in order to facilitate the machining of the housing in the end of the triangle lever. This scheme supersedes the previous scheme. Two lever forgings, left and right hand, are sufficient to make the four levers on the car. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Att: N.Sch.4847. | ||
