contd:- -2- the correct meshing of the teeth at the moment of engagement by looking down in between the flywheel and the camshaft gear-wheel. The driving springs in this design are working at a somewhat smaller radius and are shorter in length than we are at present using, but we think it should be possible to make a spring which will reproduce the effect we have at present, and we are looking into this point next week. We shall also look into the question of the damping springs. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
