16th January, 1934.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

For the attention of Mr. J.C.Bowering.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 15th inst. in connection with fitting D.W.S. Jacks to 20/25 h.p. cars.

We note you call our attention to the fact that the axle beam has a lean of 2½° and this should be compensated by a V wedge block between the Jack and the axle beam.

For your information, we are aware of this condition and the V packing will be shaped to counteract this lean.

We note from the last paragraph of your letter that you will require a strong tag tied to the two-speed handles for the 40/50 h.p. cars, stating the position of the gear markings of 'High' and 'Low' - this will receive our careful attention.

Yours faithfully,

For DONALD SESSIONS & COMPANY LIMITED.

Donald W. Sessions
Managing Director.
