404 To EY. from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}Er. Special Aero-Dynamic Bodies - Bentley V.{VIENNA} Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}9/E10239 I am in receipt of BY.3/G.7.2.39. I agree the suggestions as per (a) and (b). I note that the first of the two bodies is to be used for the car which has to go to France for test but I have forgotten what the second body is for so perhaps you will let me know. With regard to which of the English coachbuilders should undertake the construction of future bodies, I should like you to discuss again, when in London with Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}, the question of Park Ward & Co. because we rather feel that we may be over-loading them with special work. We believe that Mr.Ward is about the only person there who can tackle special propositions and the danger is, if we dissipate his energies too much, we may not get anything really right and the B.V. standard body seems to be quite a serious proposition for them to tackle.
