For the attention of Mr. Harris.

Dear Sirs,

We would very much like to test some smaller needle seatings for use on the Bentley, in conjunction with the high pressure pumps.

Will you please make us a dozen seatings size .093".

Our tests show that the calculated head of petrol required to flood is 24 feet.

Inspection of several needles and seatings show that the seatings have a poor finish.

Please find enclosed a photomicrograph showing finish on both parts.

Our official order will follow later.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
