W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq.,
Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Thanks for yours of the 8th and for so kindly taking the trouble to outline so thoroughly the operation of the General Filter. After submitting this to our expert, however, whilst he is very interested to note the details, he is convinced that if you will only give him an opportunity of explaining the principle of our own filter, you will appreciate its merits.

As you have taken so much trouble and appear to be very interested in the question of filtration, Mr. Grose feels that he would like to bring along the actual designer (Mr. Pickard) of our filter to see you. Perhaps you will very kindly suggest a day and time, say, next week, convenient to yourself, for a discussion of this matter, when Mr. Grose will be pleased to hand you sample.

As Mr. Pickard is a chemist of repute I am sure it would be to our mutual advantage to have a thorough investigation of the subject under notice.

Much appreciating your courtesy. Awaiting your kind reply and thanking you in anticipation,

Sincerely yours,

Charles WmAinsls
